Post Orders & Assignments

This course covers the essential duties of security assignments, including site orientation, reporting procedures, equipment usage, and emergency response protocols. Participants will gain insight into the importance of accurate documentation, lost and found procedures, and liability considerations. Additionally, the course provides guidance on handling escort requests, traffic control, and other post-specific duties to ensure smooth operations and professional service.

Participants will be provided with an understanding of the following:

Site-Specific Training & Orientation

• Post orders, reporting procedures, and shift briefings
• Daily Activity Reports (DAR) and documentation standards
• Coordination with on-site personnel and clients

Equipment & Emergency Preparedness

• Inspection and operation of security equipment
• Use of communication devices and monitoring systems
• Emergency response protocols and liability considerations

Lost & Found Procedures

• Proper documentation and security of found items
• Chain of custody for lost property
• Credibility and integrity in handling lost/found items

Additional Security Duties

• Providing escorts and access control assistance
• Parking and traffic enforcement responsibilities
• Energy management, lighting, and non-security tasks
