California NEW Guard Card Hybrid Plus Training

Complete the full 40-hour California BSIS security guard training path with the flexibility of both classroom and online instruction. The Hybrid Plus package combines the mandatory 8-hour Power to Arrest and Appropriate Use of Force training completed in person with 32 hours of BSIS continuing education that can be completed online on your own schedule.

This option is designed for new security guard applicants who want instructor-led training for the critical initial coursework while maintaining the flexibility to complete their continuing education online. Students also receive access to the Guard Training platform, online course materials, and completion certificates.
